The resale process
The typical stages involved, from listing to sale.
Your first contact with us will be to enquire about available franchises – usually your initial point of contact will be Paul Evans.
As a prospective purchaser you’ll need to satisfy the selection criteria for new franchisees as determined by the franchisor. Once your application and NDA has been reviewed and approved, further details can be provided about the franchise resale/s.
We’ll send you a sales prospectus for the franchise(s) you’re interested in, complete with the territory and financial details you need to make a decision on going to the next stage.
Once an offer has been accepted, Heads of Terms – setting out the main terms of the sale – are agreed and drawn up.
Following due diligence procedures, each party will instruct their lawyers and a Sale & Purchase Agreement will be entered into.
Upon exchange a non-refundable deposit will be paid and a completion date agreed by all parties.
